Coloured Pencil Course Student Gallery

Below is a selection of students work from the coloured pencil course.
The coloured pencil certificate course starts off with some basic tuition in the fundamentals of drawing. This section is very important as it refreshes or teaches the student in the basic drawing skills needed to draw and paint any subject. We talk about light and shade, practice tonal ranges, and touch a little on composition by drawing a few objects around the house. This enables me to iron out any problems before the student moves onto drawing fur and feathers! This section is extremely important. In my professional experience students progress far quicker after practising a few inanimate objects first, especially those who are very new to drawing and painting.
