The college offers a range of more than twenty courses, all very carefully written and complete in themselves. They are divided into easy-to-understand and follow study units. Supported by full illustrations, the study units progress gently and steadily giving students a thorough grounding in the techniques being demonstrated.
When you purchase one of our written courses you will have access to the help and support provided by our course artists, talented painters and illustrators, who are themselves active and successful artists usually with formal teaching qualifications and who have been chosen because of the sympathetic and supportive way they relate to fellow artists.
Each course has it's own course artist who will review submissions and give help, advice and encouragement as one artist to another. Course Artists are not teaching so much using their experience as successful artists to help others. For seventy five years our courses have helped tens of thousands of aspiring artists and illustrators to learn new skills and in many cases to develop their careers.
