6th March 2006 Student of the Year 2006
The London Art College was founded in 1931. Thus 2006 is our 75th Anniversary. To mark this historic landmark the College is going to invite tutors to put forward suitable candidates from each of our twenty-two courses for the award "Student of the Year". The College, whose decision in the matter will be final, will then select the winning student in January 2007. This will be the person who, in the opinion of their course artist and the College, has made the greatest progress on their chosen course in 2006.
The winning student will receive formal recognition from the College by way of a Special Certificate and a cash prize of £250.

10th April 2005 London Art College gains accreditation from ODLQC
The Open & Distance Learning Quality Council (ODLQC), established by the Government in 1968, now an independent body, is recognised as the UK guardian of quality in Open & Distance Learning. The London Art College is delighted therefore that our application for recognition from them has resulted in Full Accreditation at the first attempt.

ODLQC accredits only those providers who meet the high standards they lay down for the quality of course materials, the expertise of tuition provided in the course and the consistent and reliable delivery of sound administration. The fact that the college is accredited will give additional strong reassurance to students and potential students about the courses we offer. For further reading please click here
