Students Profile

It would be really helpful for your tutors to find out a little about you, hwy you are taking the course, what your aspirations are and a little about you as a person. We find it very helpful to get to know a student in this way as it helps when assessing your work.

The software allows students to write about themselves, add links to their own websites and blog, or even add links to their favourite artists. There is also a facility for uploading an image of yourself - or your favourite picture or one of your pieces of artwork. This helps tutors remember who you are and if you can upload a mug shot of yourself even better.

To edit your profile login to your area and click 'my profile' on the right hand side. A drop down will appear and you can then click 'edit profile' .

When you arrive at your page, here you can edit your details. You can edit your email address but please do not edit your username or password given to you by the college which is in our records, otherwise we will be unable to help you if any queries arise.
You can however add your description here and also upload an image. The size of your image needs to be around 100 pixels x 100 pixels. You can upload your profile image in the same way as you upload your artwork to your tutor. If you are uploading an image you need to type a description into the box at the same time, even if its just a short one for the image to upload and your profile to update.

Once you have completed, click update profile; at the bottom of the page. Only your tutor will see your image and description - no one else will see this information. You can view your image and profile by licking 'my profile' and 'view my profile' on the right of the screen.
