Click on the assignment you wish to upload work for

help4

Click 'Upload Files' button

help5

Click 'Add' to start adding your images. It is ideal to have your folder of images ready prepared. You can upload your work as JPEGS. This is the best format for uploading images as they are optimised. Ideally you need to have the widest edge of each image 1000 pixels. Word documents can also be uploaded with text however we advise students to only use Word Docs for text and try not to add images into the word documents itself.

help 6

A new dialogue box will appear and you need to click 'upload a file'

help 7

As you can see below you can click 'Choose File' to browse your computer to find the files you wish to upload.

help 8

A dialogue box will appear and you need to navigate to where you have saved the images you wish to upload on your computer. Click once on the image and then click open.

help 9

Finally click upload image. It may take a while for your image to upload depending on its size and your connection speed. Please try to keep each image below 1mb if you can.

help 10

Repeat the process until you have uploaded all of the required images.

help 11

When you are happy with the images you have uploaded please click 'save changes'. Don't forget at this stage your images haven't been sent for marking, so you can upload images over the weeks as you work on them. As long as you click save changes each time, they will be saved on our website.

help 12

Once you have saved the changes you can see the images and word doc on the main assignment page. You can edit or delete them at any time, or add more files by clicking 'edit these files'. When you are back at the screen above you can click the box next to the image name and you will be given options to delete, rename, download and move.

You can also add a letter or notes to your tutor here too. if you prefer not to upload a Word doc you can write a full letter here by clicking 'edit below the word 'notes' as seen in the image below. You will be taken to a page with a text box to write your text.

help 13

Type your text into the box, which has most of the features of any word processing software. You can also add links here too. Click Save changes when you are ready - you can edit this at any time.

help 14

IMPORTANT - Final Stage!
When you have uploaded all of your images and text and you have completed all of the set work for the assignment, and you are happy you have everything present and correct, you need to click the 'send for marking' at the bottom of the page. The work wont be submitted to your tutor until you click the 'send for marking' button. The send for marking button is the final stage and once clicked, you wont be able to edit, add, delete or change anything.

help 15

If you have any problems uploading your work, or you need help with the process please don't hesitate to email techsupport@londonartcollege.co.uk giving your username, password, course and tutor.
