Julie Douglas BA Hons

Julie trained in graphic design and illustration in Liverpool Poly and Norwich School of Art, and worked as a freelance illustrator for 10 years, with clients ranging from Tesco to Pilkington Glass, Mitchell Beazley, American Express and Paul McCartney. She then began to side-step into teaching.

Julie has been teaching drawing and painting for 15 years now and, as all her students will say, she simply loves it. She is now studying for her MA in Art, Design and Education, to broaden her own experiences both as an artist and a teacher.

Julie hopes her enthusiasm for coloured pencil as a medium will energise her students into reaching new, rewarding levels with their artwork.
