Linda originally studied art after leaving school, and has been painting for commissions for many years.
This work tended to be portraiture, which is still one of her great pleasures. Linda then studied Life drawing and found this both instructive and stimulating.
She took a degree in illustration in 1991, when her family was more grown up, but found herself concentrating on gallery work and part-time teaching, mainly adults. Linda has worked as an artist in school and as a scene painter for both school and drama productions.
Linda is happy to undertake portrait commissions and commissions of favourite places.
