Maja Hill

Maja holds a BA in Fine Art and an MA in Interactive Design and a postgraduate diploma in Character Animation at Central Saint Martins.

She has held solo exhibitions and taken part in group exhibitions in London, Paris, New York, and across Europe and the UK.
Her work is mostly inspired by people and their surroundings, very often urban landscapes.

She is trying to capture different aspects of people’s lives, from innocent portraits of children playing to personal moments.
Analysing the intimate nature of people and how they change the landscape they inhabit.

In the same time trying to see the traces that a particular landscape (urban or natural) leaves on the people that live surrounded by it.

As well as working as a professional artist she also lectures at Solent University.
