Nick Beall has been painting portraits of both people and animals for many years.
He studied Natural History Illustration at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design and upon leaving he worked with a variety of London agencies illustrating books and encyclopedias in both figurative and wildlife illustration. Moving away from working with the large agencies, he began to work for his own clients who were seeking him out for portraiture and now has a successful established business painting people and portraits for clients worldwide.
Over the years along side painting full time he has taught a wide age range of students in watercolour at his previous studio and also taught students computer skills from the basics, to photoshop.
Nick has accepted commissions from as far and wide as Australia, Japan and USA. He works full time in his studio in West Wales painting portraits of animals and people along side his wife Melanie Phillips whom he met at Bournemouth and Poole College on the same illustration course.
